Safety Features
- All the electrical connections and motors parts should be provided with suitable, removable guarding panels or should be enclosed in boxes.
- The machine should be provided with safety interlocks.
- Safety interlocks / Door should be provided for the Acrylic upper guards& dozer assembly.
- All the electrical wiring should be covered with guards.
- All components are having proper single earthing.
- Operator accessible area i.e. Electrical Panel, Console, safety interlocks, Switches and sensors etc. should be Operating on 24 V DC supply wherever possible.
- Machine & machine parts should have smooth edges & corners for working safely.
- Main motor & feeder motors should be protected against overload through overload relays& interlocked with machine start, immediately stopping the machine & overload message should be displayed on the screen.
- Emergency stop switch should be provided on front panel single sides of the machine & on the operator interface panel for immediate stopping in case of emergency.
- The machine should have provision for disconnecting main power at an accessible place.
- Noise level of the machine at optimum speed should be within the limit.
- Machine should require with single earthing provision.
- The Jog mode / inching mode should have double switch facility in order to ensure two hand operations to prevent an incidence.
